Behavior of a Newly Born Baby

A baby is a very special thing and it is a special blessing of God to every human being. A baby can really have a very significant effect on the parents and also on the other people, but a baby can react in very different way as compared to the other elder children or babies. A newly born baby has its own style and he has his own way of reaction. New baby can feel all different sensations, but respond most enthusiastically to soft stroking, cuddling and caressing. They may feel comfort by sucking their thumb. They are able to focus on objects of only about 18 inches, directly in front of their face. A newly born baby usually cries a lot. If he is not crying, you should consult with the doctor to ensure that he is alright. A not crying newly born baby may have a serious problem. If newly born is not sleeping or feeding, then they may spend time staring with random objects.

There are number of different reactions of babies, but thumb and finger sucking habits are more common. All these habits have a very calming and soothing effect on the newly born babies and toddlers. Another thing that is very important is that, they also lift their legs. This is also another very common behavior of the newly born babies. They can suck their any finger of the hand and they can also try to suck their entire hand or from the back of the palm. They rub their eyes and they also move a lot. A newly born baby does not open his eyes a lot, and always like to attach with their mothers.
